Gianna teaches in the MFA Visual Narrative program at the School of Visual Arts, as well as an animation class at Pioneer Works in Redhook, Brooklyn, and screen printing at the Gowanus Printlab. Her illustration work has been featured by Car and Driver Magazine, Narratively, Warby Parker and more. She has illustrated a YA Graphic novel with Lerner Publishing, as well as contributed to several comics anthologies, including Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes, with Simon & Schuster. She is a screen printer, working out of the Gowanus Printlab where she prints things like merch and band posters, as well as wallpaper and fabric for her own small brand. She is also a skilled riso printer which she operates out of her Brooklyn apartment.
When not working, Gianna enjoys spending time outside biking or hiking, as well as visiting museums and other cultural institutions. She travels when she can and often visits Upstate New York, where she is originally from.
